Frederick Childe Hassam (1859–1935) was a pioneering and incredibly prolific American Impressionist painter, renowned for his brilliant ability to capture light, color, and atmosphere. A founding member of "The Ten"—an influential group of early 20th-century American artists—Hassam produced thousands of paintings, watercolors, and etchings over his career.
